Sunday Evening Photo Shoot at the Pink Barn

I was thrilled to be able to photograph one of my very special quilts* this evening at the "Pink Barn" - a well-known and well-loved local landmark for those of us who live in the Elizabethtown area.

I've been wanting to do this for almost two years, and tonight was the night!  Not only was the weather and lighting perfect, but the owners just happened to be home and were kind enough to lend me a hand with the hanging.

Since I am in love with all the pictures, I'm going to post every one of them instead of picking and choosing.  So, my apologies in advance for the photo overload!

Robert & Marian Brandt, owners of the lovely "Pink Barn."  :)
These barns have been in the Brandt family for six generations.

*Note: I had hand stitched this "Ila's Carolina Lily" quilt more than 10 years ago during the final days of my mother's battle with cancer.  It is so dear to me....  I've been wanting to photograph it in just the right location, so I was so grateful the Brandts were willing to share there scenic setting with me.

Thank you so very much!!
