Pixelated Sunflower Quilt

I love pixelated quilts!
I sketched out this simple pixelated sunflower pattern after being inspired by:

and Maker Valley's t-shirt version of Vanessa's design.

I cut my squares at 4" to finish at 3-1/2", yielding a 63" x 77" quilt.   You could certainly cut 3-1/2" squares for a 54" x 66" quilt, or 4-1/2" squares for a 72" x 88" quilt, depending on what size you would like your finished quilt to be.

For my version, you'll need to cut the following 4" squares:
Low Volume - 341
Yellow - 20
Brown - 12
Green - 25

For the Half Square Triangle sets,  cut the following 4-3/4" squares:
Low Volume - 16
Yellow - 15
Green - 5
Brown - 2

Pair the 4-3/4" squares to make the following number of Half Square Triangle sets:
Low Volume/Yellow - 23
Brown/Yellow - 4
Green/Yellow - 1
Low Volume/Green - 8

Trim each HST set to 4".

Lay out your blocks, stitch together, and that's it!
(No guarantees that my math is correct, but this should at least get you started!)

Guided Star Quilting used the Dave's Sunflower pantograph to add amazing texture - isn't it fabulous?!

In September of 2022 I had the wonderful opportunity to exhibit my beloved quilt at Riley Blake's Garden of Quilts at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi, Utah.  It was a bucket list trip, and most definitely exceeded my expectations!

I was THRILLED with the way they positioned the quilt, making it look as if it was growing out of the large terra cotta pot!!

And, a special shout out to my nephew/quilt holder.  :)
